Just a note of congratulations to our friends in Italy!
The results are unofficial, and we will hear more from them directly, but it is looking very positive. I am hearing over 95% voting with us and against water privatisation.
This has been an amazing and inspirational campaign.
You have raised the awareness greatly and put water squarely on the political and public agenda. This is very positive for the future of water struggles in Italy, Europe and everywhere.
We will wait to hear of the official results from our Italian friends before fully celebrating, but we can still acknowledge the hard work and this wonderful campaign for water justice.

Je ne sais pas pourquoi, j’ai un reste de pessimisme ; est-ce qu’ils vont respecter ce choix ?
ça doit être le syndrome du traité européen qu’on avait refusé par référendum et qu’ils nous ont imposés quand même en France.
en tout cas, ce soir, c’est la fête ; après ce sera la vigilance….
